Pistol 1
This 1 day course lays the foundation for all future pistol training. Safety, range etiquette, clearing, loading, equipment, fundamentals of fire, drawstroke, clearing stoppages, common mistakes, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this training is designed for beginners, the subject matter and technique allows students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints.
Pistol 1: Foundations
(4 hours/300-500 rounds minimum) $200 + range fee
This course lays the foundation for all future pistol training. Key topics include:
- Safety
- Range etiquette
- Clearing, loading
- Equipment basics
- Fundamentals of fire
- Draw-stroke
- Clearing stoppages
- Common mistakes
- Warrior mindset
Designed for beginners, this course equips students with realistic skills to handle stress and time constraints effectively.
Pistol 2
This 1 day course begins with a review of safety protocols and an audit of each individual’s shooting fundamentals and basic skill sets (draw stroke, reloads, etc). During this course, students will learn use of cover/concealment, concealed carry considerations, fighter mindset, and movement. Prior training is required to be eligible to attend this course.
Pistol 2: Intermediate
(4-6 hours/300-500 rounds minimum) $200 + range fee
Build on the basics with:
- Safety review
- Fundamental skill audit
- Use of cover/concealment
- Concealed carry considerations
- Fighter mindset
- Movement
Prior training is required. Enhance your practical skills and tactical thinking.
Pistol 3
This 1 day course is all about moving, shooting, and thinking under stress. Students are expected to have previously gained unconscious competency in their fundamentals of fire and basic skill sets. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: fighting from concealment, one-handed operation, movement, use of cover, integrating hand-to-hand combat, and integrating tactics in order to ‘fight smarter.’
Pistol 3: Advanced
(6-8 hours/500 rounds minimum) $300 + range fee
Dive deeper into advanced techniques with:
- Safety review
- Fundamental skill audit
- Use of cover/concealment
- Home defense tactics
- Center fed, corner fed, pieing
- Single operator strategies
Prior training is required. Master complex scenarios and defense tactics.

300 rounds minimum.

- A kydex-type holster affording trigger guard coverage
- 3-5 magazines with at least 1 magazine holster
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- Ear and Eye protection

- Lots of water/snacks
- Clothing and Headware suitable for crappy weather
